Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and versatile Subcontractor/Laborer crew to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of various construction projects, assisting with site preparation, material handling, and the execution of diverse tasks across multiple trades. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to high-quality building projects. All work is paid, and you will be supported by a collaborative team dedicated to safety, craftsmanship, and efficiency. Duties Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, ensuring safety and organization at all times Operate hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as framing, drywall installation, siding installation, window and door installation, and other remodeling projects Support skilled tradespeople with tasks including plumbing, electrical work, roofing, and carpentry Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to aid in accurate project execution Handle materials safely and efficiently, including fabrication and installation of fixtures like cabinets or glass panels Perform demolition, restoration work, or heavy equipment operation as needed on-site Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and inspecting tools and equipment regularly Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is mandatory; training provided for motivated candidates Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and basic construction equipment operation Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of various construction techniques including concrete forming, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, or masonry is a plus Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards Basic understanding of construction management principles and estimating processes is advantageous Seeking a crew that has all the necessary tools, skills, and knowledge of general construction to help build the business and keep workflow going as it should. Pay will vary per job and be 1099 and all compensation will be discussed before ever accepting a job Being able to review the job on site and verify measurements and materials that will provided are satisfactory and communication skills with the owner to tell them how each day progresses and trouble shoot any issues that may arise.
