Duties Assist with asphalt paving operations, ensuring materials are properly prepared and laid down smoothly. Support the setup and cleanup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials with dump trucks. Maintain safety protocols by inspecting equipment and work areas regularly, adhering to OSHA standards. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining high safety standards. Assist in site preparation, grading, and finishing work to achieve quality paving results. Qualifications Prior experience in construction or paving projects is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as skid loaders, loaders, graders is a plus. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures and utility locating techniques. Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality work. Valid driver's license preferred; experience operating front loaders or similar machinery is a bonus.
