Window laborer/Helper

Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Window Laborer/Helper to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with window installation and related tasks on various construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, great communication and a willingness to learn and grow within the construction industry. Prior experience in construction or maintenance person work is preferred but not required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in glass installation, window installation, carpentry, and general construction. Duties Assist with the installation of windows, including handling glass and framing components Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to support installation projects Prepare work areas by measuring, cutting, and assembling materials according to schematics and blueprints Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely and efficiently Support with caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation and door hanging tasks Assist in metal stud framing, drywall installation, remodeling projects, and construction painting as needed Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site and in work trailer. Follow safety protocols at all times during construction activities Experience Construction site experience or related maintenance person experience is highly desirable Familiarity with construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics, and fabrication techniques is a plus Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing, carpentry, and remodeling projects is preferred Knowledge of fixture installation, door hanging, caulking, trim carpentry, and construction painting is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods Prior experience working on commercial or residential construction sites will be beneficial This position provides an excellent pathway for individuals interested in building a career in construction while gaining practical skills across multiple trades.
