General Laborer

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Treat and inspect wood utility poles at ground level Manually dig around the base of the pole & refilling the hole Applying products to pole for treatment Drilling holes in the pole & tagging pole complete Walking long distances from pole-to-pole while carrying equipment Perform all other duties as assigned by foreman or management 100% Travel Ability Nationwide A strong belief in the company & client safety policy- Being Safe 100% of the time! Alignment with company & client mission, vision, and values Strong team player with the ability to adapt to diverse team members A high level of time management, accountability, and prioritization skills Ability to support a fast paced, demanding work schedule; could include late evenings and/or weekends Preform daily safety tailgate meeting and report any safety issues/concerns to management immediately Conduct proper behavior both on the job site and after hours when traveling with the company Leave job sites, trucks, and hotel rooms in good, clean, working order

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, like sitting, squatting, standing, walking, and lifting to 50lbs. Must endure regular exposure to all weather conditions, including hot, cold, humid, and rainy through all seasons year round Be comfortable with all types of work environments & terrain like woods, back yards, hills, alleys, roadside, poison ivy, insects, animals, etc. Must wear common protective safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, high visible vest when working on-site and carry all other job safety equipment at all times.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

1+ years in a general laborer type position 18+ years old Must be able to pass a background check Drug testing is required on all new hires, post accidents, probable cause or random
