Construction Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sheetrocker/Painter/Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of construction and carpentry, with the ability to work on diverse residential and commercial projects. This role requires both technical skills and physical stamina, as you will be involved in building, remodeling, and restoration tasks. A commitment to quality workmanship and safety is essential. Duties Construct, assemble, and install structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and wallboard. Perform stucco application and maintenance as needed. Engage in construction painting to enhance the aesthetic appeal of completed projects. Lay tiles for flooring or wall applications with precision. Assist in remodeling projects by following design specifications and plans. Conduct basic electrical work under supervision when required. Execute heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to proper lifting techniques. Carry out trim carpentry tasks to finish off projects with attention to detail. Participate in restoration industry projects that may involve repairing or restoring existing structures. Qualifications Fluency in English, preferably Spanish as well Proven experience in carpentry or construction fields is preferred. Familiarity with sheetrock. Ability to assemble and build various structures efficiently. Knowledge of construction painting methods and materials. Experience with tile laying is advantageous. Strong understanding of remodeling processes and techniques. Basic knowledge of electrical work is beneficial but not mandatory. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work are essential traits for success in this role.
