Job Description:

US Enhanced is hiring for our client, a growing manufacturer in Asheboro, NC, seeking a dependable Construction & Fabrication Helper to join their production team on 1st shift. This is a full time Temp to Perm opportunity with long term career potential for candidates who have previous hands on experience in construction, manufacturing, fabrication, welding, or industrial environments. This position supports skilled production personnel with door installation assistance, panel work, material handling, measuring, layout work, and general fabrication support inside a fast paced manufacturing facility. Candidates should be comfortable working with hand and power tools and must be able to accurately read a tape measure. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety conscious, mechanically inclined, and eager to continue building their skills in a team oriented manufacturing environment. Candidates with construction backgrounds, fabrication shop experience, welding exposure, or industrial assembly experience are encouraged to apply. This is not a training position. Applicants should already have basic hands on experience using tools and working in a construction, manufacturing, or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with door installation and panel work throughout the production process Read and accurately use a tape measure for layout and fabrication tasks Support layout, measuring, and production preparation activities Safely move and handle materials throughout the facility Operate hand and power tools including drills, circular saws, and reciprocating saws Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and production standards Work collaboratively with production teams to meet deadlines and quality expectations Assist with general fabrication and shop support duties as needed

Requirements:

Previous hands on experience in construction, manufacturing, fabrication, welding, or industrial work environments required Ability to accurately read a tape measure is required Experience using hand and power tools required Blueprint reading experience preferred Welding experience is a plus Strong attendance and dependable work history required Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment Must be able to lift materials and remain on your feet throughout the shift Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be able to pass a background check Candidates should already have basic hands on experience and be comfortable working in an industrial environment
