Duties Operate construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and horizontal drilling machines to facilitate various phases of construction projects Assist with site preparation by moving materials, grading surfaces, and maintaining equipment safety standards Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Support the construction team with labor tasks including material handling, site cleanup, and assisting skilled operators as needed Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment on-site Communicate effectively with team members regarding equipment status and project progress Adhere to project timelines by efficiently managing equipment operations and labor responsibilities Qualifications Prior experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, or water trucks is highly preferred Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic equipment issues quickly and safely Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or the ability to obtain one is a plus for operating dump trucks or tanker vehicles Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and operational procedures Ability to operate Caterpillar (CAT) machinery or similar brands confidently Knowledge of horizontal drilling techniques or paving operations is advantageous but not mandatory Strong work ethic with the flexibility to work in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments Join our team today to be part of a vibrant construction crew dedicated to building lasting infrastructure!
