Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking energetic and dependable individuals to join our team as General Laborers and Flaggers. In this vital role, you will play a key part in ensuring the safety, efficiency, and smooth operation of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include directing traffic around construction sites, assisting with various heavy equipment operations, and supporting the overall progress of the project. This position offers a dynamic work environment where your proactive attitude and attention to safety will make a significant impact. Whether you're experienced in construction or eager to learn, this role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced industry. Responsibilities Safely direct traffic around active construction zones using flagging signals and communication tools Assist with the operation of heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, and front loader trucks Support construction activities including paving, site preparation, and utility locating Maintain clear communication with team members and site supervisors to ensure safety protocols are followed Help with general labor tasks such as material handling, site cleanup, and equipment setup Monitor construction site conditions to identify potential hazards and report them promptly Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in heavy equipment operation is preferred but not required Knowledge of heavy machinery such as Caterpillar equipment (dozers, loaders, graders) is a plus Experience with utility locating or paving projects is advantageous Familiarity with construction safety procedures and protocols Ability to operate or learn to operate various construction vehicles including dump trucks and front loader trucks Strong communication skills for flagging duties and team coordination Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor for extended periods Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to building safer environments while advancing your career in construction!
