Technician Job Description This role involves working as a technician at an industrial jobsite, supporting cleanup activities and assisting with general mechanical, construction, electrical, and assembly tasks using basic hand tools. Responsibilities Perform cleanup duties throughout the jobsite to maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area. Support mechanical activities by assisting with basic assembly, disassembly, and handling of components as directed. Assist construction and electrical teams with general labor tasks, including moving materials, staging equipment, and preparing work areas. Use hand tools safely and correctly to support assembly, installation, and cleanup tasks. Follow instructions from supervisors and lead technicians to complete assigned tasks on schedule. Adhere to all site safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and operational guidelines while performing daily work. Report any hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Essential Skills Experience performing general labor tasks in an industrial, construction, or similar environment. Ability to perform cleanup work in and around active work areas while maintaining safety and organization. Basic mechanical aptitude to support assembly and general maintenance tasks. Familiarity with construction and electrical environments and the ability to assist teams as needed. Proficiency in using basic hand tools safely and effectively. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work as part of a team. Physical ability to perform manual labor, including standing, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift. Additional Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in technician, general labor, mechanical, construction, electrical, or assembly roles. Comfort working in an industrial jobsite environment with multiple trades and activities in progress. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and orderly work area. You should expect to wear appropriate work attire and personal protective equipment suitable for an industrial setting, and to follow all site safety rules and housekeeping standards during your shift Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
