Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer, where your energy and skills will help bring building projects to life! In this vital role, you will assist with a wide range of construction activities, ensuring that each phase of the project progresses smoothly and safely. Your hands-on contributions will support skilled tradespeople and help deliver high-quality results on time. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your construction expertise while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. All roles are paid positions, emphasizing the value of every team member's contribution. Responsibilities Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as rebar installation, framing, and drywall work Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks like cutting, drilling, and fastening Mix and pour concrete using mixers and pumps; ensure proper finishing techniques for concrete surfaces Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to understand project requirements Perform heavy lifting and manual labor to move materials and equipment around the site Support installation of flooring, tile, stucco, trim carpentry, and other finishing work Assist with demolition, renovation, restoration projects, and site cleanup to maintain a safe work environment Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes when trained and certified Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Skills in masonry, metal stud framing, roofing, plastering, or welding are a plus Comfort with heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, concrete finishing, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, flooring installation, tile laying, and concrete pumping is highly desirable Valid driver's license for commercial driving or operation of heavy equipment is preferred but not mandatory; training available if needed Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills; safety-conscious mindset is essential Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly contribute to building durable structures!
