Construction Laborer

Job Title:

Paving & Sealcoating Laborer Job Summary:

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Paving & Sealcoating Laborer to join our crew. This position involves assisting with asphalt paving, sealcoating, crack filling, and general maintenance of parking lots and driveways. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious and able to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with asphalt paving, patching, and resurfacing projects Apply sealcoat to asphalt surfaces using squeegees and brushes Perform crack filling and minor repairs to pavement Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sweeping, and removing debris Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as blowers and tampers Direct traffic and set up work zones safely Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment Perform general labor duties as assigned by the crew leader or supervisor

Qualifications:

Previous experience in paving, sealcoating, or construction preferred Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, standing for long periods) Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work well in a team environment Valid driver's license is a plus

Working Conditions:

Outdoor work in hot, cold, and varying weather conditions Exposure to asphalt, sealants, and construction equipment Early mornings and long hours Benefits (if applicable): Overtime opportunities

Pay Range:

Based on experience (pay starting at $18.00 an hour. Experience will pay more.)

Pay:

$18.00 - $25.00 per hour
