Job Description

Laborer (Construction) Small family-owned drilling and blasting company located in Stewartsville, NJ is seeking a competent Construction Laborer. Individual must be reliable, detail oriented and safety conscious.
Responsibilities:
Learn safety protocols of working around explosives Follow instruction and communicate with the Blaster In Charge Load and unload explosives from powder truck Carry buckets of stemming stone Physically able to work at a steady pace in all outside weather conditions and rough terrain at times Willing to travel in tri-state area (NJ, PA & NY) as necessary Willing to work on Union & Non-Union Projects Willing to learn/train with driller, hazmat driver and blaster for possible further position in the company, preferred but not required Ability to lift 50-100 pounds at times
Qualifications:
Valid Driver's license with own reliable transportation Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen Construction laborer experience preferred but not required Willing to obtain CDL w/ Hazmat preferred but not required Ed Wean Drilling and Blasting is proud to be a Certified Woman Owned Small Business with
