Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Worker/Vehicle Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and vehicles essential to successful construction projects. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Housing and additional services are available. Work hours for this role consist of ten,10 hour days Duties Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, and front loader trucks to perform excavation, grading, loading, and hauling tasks preferred. Operate forklifts, tow tractors and telehandlers for material handling Perform vehicle and heavy machinery mechanical maintenance desired. Assist in various construction operations. Support construction activities by performing site preparation, material movement, and cleanup tasks. Follow safety protocols diligently during equipment operation and construction activities to maintain a secure work environment. Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment use and project timelines effectively. Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, dump trucks, and front loader trucks a plus. Ability to competently operate a forklift and telehandler Strong understanding of construction site procedures and safety regulations. Familiarity with general construction practices. Knowledge of heavy machinery operation and mechanical maintenance is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. The ability to manage your time effectively. Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks in various weather conditions.
