Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Laborer with pipefitting experience to join one of their federal contracting clients in Los Alamos, NM at The Los Alamos National Laboratory. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction maintenance tasks with a focus on installing, assembling, and maintaining piping systems. This is fully onsite position that may require 5, 10 hr shifts weekly. Day to day:- Assist in preparing and cleaning job sites for pipe fitting tasks
- Load and unload materials and equipment required for pipe fitting
- Measure, cut, and bend pipes to required lengths and angles
- Assemble and install piping systems, including valves, fittings, and supports
- Inspect and test installed pipe systems to ensure functionality and safety
- Repair malfunctions, breakages, or leaks in piping systems
- Operate machinery and equipment such as forklifts and pipe bending machines
- Follow safety regulations and quality standards in all tasks
