Competitive weekly pay Overtime available Growth opportunities We are a growing general engineering contractor serving the greater Las Vegas area, and we're looking for a reliable, hardworking General Laborer to join our field team. This role is essential to keeping our heavy civil and engineering projects running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. If you're dependable, physically strong, and eager to learn, this is a great opportunity to build a long-term career in construction. As a General Laborer, you will support site supervisors, equipment operators, and skilled tradespeople with a variety of physical and technical tasks. You'll help maintain safe, clean, and productive job sites while gaining hands-on experience across multiple aspects of civil construction. Key Responsibilities Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris, hazards, and obstacles. Load, unload, and transport building materials, tools, and heavy equipment across the job site. Assist with excavation, trenching, and backfilling. Operate basic hand and power tools (e.g., jackhammers, saws, drills) safely. Mix, pour, and level concrete or asphalt when required. Support equipment maintenance and ensure strict adherence to OSHA health and safety regulations. Qualifications & Requirements Minimum 1 year of general labor experience (heavy civil or construction preferred). Physical stamina to perform strenuous manual labor in varying weather conditions. Ability to regularly lift, carry, and move heavy objects 50 to 75 pounds. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the office. Strong commitment to workplace safety and following complex verbal instructions. Willingness to learn new skills on the job. English/Spanish speaking a plus.
