Summer Laborer

Job Overview Ready to build nightmares from the ground up? Frightmare Farms Haunted SCREAM Park is seeking a hardworking, hands-on Laborer to join our summer and pre-season build crew. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy physical work, creative environments, and being part of something bigger than a typical job. As a Frightmare Farms Laborer, you'll help bring our haunted attractions to life; constructing sets, painting scenic elements, moving materials, and transforming raw spaces into immersive experiences. This is a paid, active position where no two days are the same, and your work directly shapes what thousands of guests will experience in the fall. Responsibilities Assist with the construction and assembly of haunted attraction sets, including framing, paneling, and basic scenic builds Paint structures to achieve themed, realistic finishes Move, load, and organize materials such as lumber, props, tools, and set pieces across the property Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas throughout build projects Assist with setup, teardown, and repositioning of sets as needed Follow all safety guidelines and use tools and equipment properly Requirements Ability to perform physical labor including lifting (50+ lbs), bending, climbing, and working on your feet for extended periods. Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to take direction Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Basic construction, painting, or tool experience is a plus but not required (we'll teach the right people) Must be at least 16 years old (or per local labor laws)
