Job Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer, where your energy and dedication will help bring building projects to life! In this vital role, you'll be an essential part of the crew, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that every phase of construction runs smoothly. From site preparation to finishing touches, your hands-on work will contribute directly to creating safe, durable, and high-quality structures. Duties Assist with site preparation including clearing, grading, and setting up safety barriers to ensure a secure work environment Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or concrete finishing Support heavy equipment operation by preparing materials and assisting with movement around the site Perform heavy lifting of materials like rebar, lumber, concrete blocks, and other construction supplies Mix and pour concrete using mixers and pumps; install rebar and formwork for foundations and structures Read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications for tasks such as metal stud framing or stucco application Support specialty trades including masonry, roofing, flooring installation, tile laying, plastering, or restoration work as needed Maintain a clean job site by disposing of debris properly and organizing tools and materials for efficiency Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with OSHA standards Skills Mechanical knowledge to operate tools and troubleshoot equipment issues effectively Construction estimating skills to understand project scope and material requirements (nice-to-have) Expertise in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping processes Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, heavy machinery operation, and scaffolding setup Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of tasks Experience with masonry techniques including stucco application and metal stud framing Knowledge of carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry, framing, restoration, and renovation projects Familiarity with roofing systems and caulking applications for weatherproofing projects Skills in tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, drywall finishing, and heavy lifting tasks Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience operating heavy equipment (preferred) Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites to maintain a secure work environment Join us if you're ready to build your career in construction!
