Construction Laborer

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic role offers hands-on experience in a variety of construction activities, from foundational work to finishing touches. As a Construction Laborer, you'll work alongside skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to support construction activities on-site Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks such as framing, drywall installation, and finishing Prepare and set up construction sites by measuring, cutting, and assembling materials according to schematics and blueprints Perform rebar installation, concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create durable foundations and structures Execute masonry work including stucco, bricklaying, tile laying, and concrete forming for various projects Support heavy equipment operation such as concrete pumps or mixers under supervision Aid in roofing, framing carpentry, metal stud framing, trim carpentry, caulking, plastering, and restoration tasks as needed Read blueprints and schematics accurately to ensure precise execution of construction plans Maintain safety standards by adhering to site protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Assist with renovation projects by performing demolition, cleanup, and preparatory work for new installations Experience Prior construction site experience is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Basic mechanical knowledge beneficial for operating tools and understanding project requirements Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not mandatory Experience with concrete finishing techniques including troweling and surface smoothing is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics enhances accuracy in task execution Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience with heavy equipment operation is a plus but not required Join us today if you're ready to build your career in construction!
