Responsibilities Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment Help with site preparation, including framing, metal stud framing, masonry work, and concrete forming as needed Perform heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials such as shingles, slates, tiles, or other roofing components Contribute to restoration projects by applying techniques box gutter restoration, tile laying, or trim carpentry Maintain a clean and organized worksite while adhering to safety protocols at all times Requirements Basic familiarity with construction tools such as hand tools and power tools; prior experience is a plus but not required Willingness to learn construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and other technical skills Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights on roofs or scaffolding safely Strong interest in roofing, carpentry, masonry, remodeling or related trades within the construction industry Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately Prior experience on construction sites or handyman work is advantageous but not mandatory Commitment to safety standards and continuous learning to develop expertise in specialty roofing techniques This position is designed for motivated individuals eager to grow their skills in residential roofing and construction.
