Job description Position Overview At 3C Industries, we're not just building structures, we're building careers, communities, and lasting impact. Our Laborers support daily construction activities by performing a variety of hands-on tasks at commercial project sites. This role works closely with Foremen and Superintendents to execute scopes of work safely, efficiently, and with a strong commitment to quality and teamwork. Key Responsibilities General Site Support Review daily jobsite needs with Foreman and Superintendents to understand scopes of work, plans, and specifications. Perform general labor tasks including site cleanup, debris removal, and material handling. Assist with rough carpentry, fencing, deck and platform building, protection systems, and other assigned work activities. Participate in selected demolition work as needed. Safety & Compliance Participate in daily Pre-Task Plans and follow all safety protocols and expectations. Wear and maintain appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times. Fully understand and follow work instructions, project signage, and tool/equipment safety guidelines. Conduct pre-use inspections of tools and equipment to ensure safe operation. Serve as a spotter for heavy equipment operations and perform fire watch duties when required. Ensure all work areas, tools, and equipment are secure and properly maintained. Material & Equipment Management Inventory and track supplies; communicate re-stock needs to the Foreman. Manage dumpster vendor schedules and maintain clean, organized waste disposal areas. Construct, inspect, and maintain temporary structures such as scaffolding and platforms. Quality, Coordination & Teamwork Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout each shift. Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and fellow team members to support project goals. Track progress and production of assigned tasks and communicate updates to the supervisor. Identify and escalate potential issues promptly for resolution. Uphold 3C Industries' standards for safety, quality, and professionalism in all work activities. Other Duties Assist other craft workers as directed. Participate in end-of-day clean-up and site organization. Perform additional related duties as assigned. Physical Demands Navigate active construction sites safely Climb ladders and stairs; walk on uneven surfaces Work in various weather conditions Lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed Reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities Work Environment Primarily field-based on active construction sites Regular exposure to weather elements, loud noise, moving machinery, and airborne particles Must be comfortable working in high-risk and high-intensity environments Appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required and provided Qualifications Minimum 1 year of general construction experience, or equivalent education/training. Strong working knowledge of materials, tools, and methods used in commercial construction and carpentry. Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, blueprints, and specifications. Proficient in the safe use, care, and maintenance of hand and power tools. Basic math and geometry skills for measuring and layout work. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Ability to take direction, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Clear verbal and written communication skills for interaction with team members, clients, and partners. Reliable transportation and ability to travel as required (occasional night or weekend work).
