Deep Saw Laborer (Saw/Seal Division)

Marietta, OH Position Summary:

The primary purpose of the Deep Saw Laborer position is to perform a wide variety of general labor tasks and to also run a walk behind saw.

Essential FunctionsResponsibilities:

Ability to perform physical labor activities which includes, but is not limited to, lifting, pulling, pushing, and/or carrying different types of objects/materials. Perform tasks which may include concrete cutting on roadways, highway bridges, and other surfaces. Ability to use or learn how to use different walk behind saws. Ability to interact with job site supervisors/customers. Inspection, general maintenance, and cleanliness of all company vehicles and equipment. Keeps job site clean of all unused/waste materials and ensures all equipment is stored in a safe and secure. Ability to use or learn how to use different hand and power tools. Ensure the practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA. Willingness to perform and learn different aspects of the Laborer position. Perform all other tasks and follow instructions as directed by supervisors. WorkdaysShifts Must be available to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends) Willingness to travel for extended periods of time.

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

High school diploma or GED equivalent - Required. Valid driver's license- Required. Up-To-Date DOT Medical Card - Required.

ExperienceKnowledge:

Prior experience as a laborer or other relevant experience - Preferred.

Other Requirements:

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older. Ability to pass pre-employment drug screensbackground check, including MVR. Must be in a union or be willing to join a union.
