Join the team at SCI Company — a locally owned construction company where no two days are the same. We specialize in fuel system installations and are looking for a dependable, motivated team player who takes pride in hard work, enjoys operating equipment, and likes being outdoors instead of stuck behind a desk. If you enjoy hands-on work, operating machinery, and being part of a crew that gets real projects done, this could be a great fit. Position Overview Based near Orwell, Ohio Most job sites are within about a 1-hour drive This role offers a great mix of responsibilities, including: 50% General Labor — site prep, trenching, grading, clean-up, and assisting the crew 25% Equipment Operation — skid steers, excavators, and other construction equipment 25% Truck Driving — hauling dirt, materials, and equipment to and from job sites What You'll Do Assist with commercial fuel system installation projects Perform physical construction labor and site preparation Operate equipment safely and efficiently Drive company trucks and transport materials/equipment Work alongside a hardworking crew to keep projects moving Follow all job site safety procedures and company standards What We're Looking For Must have CDL (to haul dirt and machinery to sites sometimes) Dependable and reliable employee Strong work ethic and positive attitude Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions Willingness to learn and take direction Experience operating equipment or driving trucks Why People Like Working Here Variety in your workday — not stuck doing the same thing every day Small-company environment where your work matters Hands-on work with equipment and real construction projects Opportunity to learn valuable construction and equipment skills Steady local work with most jobs close to home Vacation, Health insurance, HSA and Retirement plans included!
