Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and hardworking General Contractor Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of the on-site crew, supporting various phases of construction projects from foundation to finishing touches. Your energy and dedication will help ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills across multiple trades while contributing to impactful building projects. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools and supplies Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as framing, concrete finishing, roofing, and demolition Support carpentry tasks including door hanging, trim carpentry, framing, and cabinetry installation Perform demolition, site cleanup, and debris removal to maintain a safe work environment Follow blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately Assist with concrete forming, masonry work, stucco application, and restoration projects Support skilled trades such as plumbing, electrical work, welding, glass installation, tile laying, and flooring installation as needed Conduct basic construction inspection tasks to ensure quality standards are met Help with scaffolding setup, heavy equipment operation, and other site logistics Maintain clear communication with supervisors regarding project progress and safety concerns Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is highly preferred Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is a plus Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools required; certification in heavy equipment operation is advantageous Knowledge of various construction disciplines including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), masonry, roofing, drywall (plastering), and concrete finishing is desirable Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and work effectively in a team environment Basic understanding of construction management principles such as estimating or inspection is beneficial but not mandatory Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks Join us in building quality structures while advancing your skills in a fast-paced environment that values energy, initiative, and craftsmanship. Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
