Apprentice Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Apprentice Technician to join our team in The Dalles Oregon. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in the Service industry. You'll receive hands-on training while working alongside experienced technicians to support the inspection, service, and repair of residential and commercial septic systems. Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of septic systems Support field technicians during service calls and inspections Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles Ensure job sites remain safe, clean, and compliant with company and environmental standards Document service work and communicate effectively with team members and customers Learn and follow all applicable safety, environmental, and operational protocols Assist with troubleshooting and resolving system issues Perform minor plumbing or electrical tasks as needed (experience a plus)

Qualifications:

Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn Ability to follow directions and work well in a team Good communication and organizational skills Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and performing physical labor Basic mechanical aptitude Plumbing or electrical experience is a plus Must be willing to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL); current CDL holders are a plus

Requirements:

Willing to work in the Dalles and surrounding communities Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in physically demanding environments

Pay:

$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
