Job Description
Nutter Corporation is hiring Heavy Civil Construction Laborers for excavation, underground utility, and site development projects. We're looking for dependable hard workers who want steady work, good crews, and opportunities to grow in heavy civil construction. If you're willing to learn, stay productive, and work safely, we are the company for you. Our laborers work directly with grade crews, pipe crews, and operators on active heavy civil projects. What You'll Be Doing Assisting with underground utility installation, grading, excavation, and site development Erosion control installation Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment Traffic control and jobsite setup Using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Grade checking using lasers, levels, string lines, and GPS equipment Working around heavy equipment and active excavation safely Supporting pipe crews and operators to keep production moving What We're Looking For 1+ years of construction experience preferred Heavy civil, utility, excavation, or grading experience is a plus Willingness to learn and work hard Ability to work outdoors in changing weather and jobsite conditions Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work as part of a crew Tools & Equipment Experience Experience using: Power tools including electric, hydraulic, gas, and diesel-powered equipment Hand tools including shovels, rakes, saws, hammers, and cutting tools What We Offer Steady Monday-Friday work with overtime as needed Profit sharing PTO 401(k) with company contribution Medical, dental, and vision insurance FSA and supplemental insurance options Paid training and advancement opportunities About Nutter Nutter Corporation has been doing heavy civil, excavation, and underground utility work since 1992.
