Full Job Description Skilled Laborer Location:
Hillsboro, OR Pay:
Up to $30/hour (Based on Experience) Skillforce is seeking dependable and hardworking Skilled Laborers for a project in Hillsboro, OR. This contract position offers the opportunity to work alongside a respected contractor supporting maintenance operations on specialized cooling equipment used in a data center environment. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, have strong mechanical abilities, and can follow detailed instructions while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Assist with routine maintenance activities on outdoor cooling equipment Remove and replace air filtration components as directed Clean equipment coils and related system components to support optimal performance Operate hand tools and basic maintenance equipment safely and effectively Follow established procedures, work instructions, and project schedules Adhere to all site-specific safety requirements and company policies Qualifications Previous experience in general labor, maintenance, construction, or a related field preferred Mechanically inclined with the ability to learn new processes quickly Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to use common hand tools safely and efficiently Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to pass a background check Required Certification OSHA 10 Certification Benefits Competitive compensation up to $30/hour depending on experience Consistent project-based work with a reputable contractor Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Paid Time Off and Holiday Pay Employee Referral Bonus Program If you're a motivated worker who enjoys hands-on tasks and takes pride in doing quality work, we encourage you to apply today. #skilltravel #GEN
