• $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Driver's License Hand tools Full Job Description Job description: A Laborer/ Carpenter at Remodeling By Classic Homes will need to be ready and willing to perform all labor tasks given, including but not limited to: shoveling; sweeping; packing building materials; picking up and delivering building materials; making dump runs; cleaning up job sites.

A Drivers license and dependable vehicle are required. As well as a clean driving record to be able to be on company insurance to drive company vehicles, being able to drive with and maneuver utility trailers a big plus. Must be 18 years old and be able to pass background check and drug test. Must be able to lift 80 lbs. Must have a good attitude and be able follow instructions. We are currently looking for a Laborer to help Carpenters with performing basic tasks, jobsite cleanup and picking up and delivery materials to job sites . it would be helpful to have some carpentry experience also but not required. A laborer candidate will be learning basic construction skills and will be given more in-depth carpentry tasks in the future. Eventually will be learning to cut, nail and brace framing assemblies including cutting headers and building wall assemblies and installing backing, as well as siding and interior trim and finishing. Need basic hand tools required. It will be our expectation that you learn to understand an overview of construction processes and we will hope that you will learn to be proficient in multiple trades, Carpenters at Remodeling by Classic Homes end up learning all aspects of Remodeling and construction eventually and are expected to learn as they help and work alongside other experienced team members. This should be your goal while working here and It is our hope that as you see and work with more experienced carpenters you will be able to increase your skills to be able to move into a higher position in the future.
