Job Summary:

Seeking a part time, hours vary, General Construction Laborer, preferably with prior on the job construction experience. This is a physically demanding position. Job duties include, but are not limited to: transferring materials in and out of company vehicles and work sites, clean up and debris removal on work sites, measuring and accurately cutting material, hanging and finishing drywall, painting with various tools, installing flooring, installing trim, framing, window/door installation and replacement, building decks, operating power tools, and other duties as assigned. Also may operate company vehicles and heavy machinery. We offer paid on-the-job training to ensure your skills are up to date and duties are carried out according to company standards.

Requirements:

• strong work ethic
• ability to lift 50-75 lbs frequently. Materials and equipment are heavy, as is debris cleanup.
• physically able to carry out the demands of the position
• excellent coordination for safety for you and your fellow workers
• ability to read a measuring tape accurately
• ability to communicate in English fluently, bilingual or multilingual is okay
• ability to follow directions and retain new skills
• attention to details (detail oriented)
• must be able to work unsupervised and as part of a team
• ability to utilize power tools effectively and safely
• must be 18 or older
• must have a valid Oregon Driver's License and clean driving record
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• must live in Pendleton area These are preferred:
• prior on the job construction experience
• ability to read drawings and plans
• knowledge of construction safety protocols

$20.00 per Hour

Additional Benefit Information:

We reimburse you for some travel and mileage expenses, if incurred, for travel to required conferences or educational classes that the company sends you to. The company provides PPE, and uniform shirts and hats, if available. We also pay for classes that the company requires you take for certifications and licenses that are deemed necessary for the position. Short term and long term disability is covered under worker's comp. Sick time and vacation time are unpaid. Job Requirements
