Laborer, Excavation

Job Purpose:

The Laborer, Excavation at HT Industrial Properties LLC is responsible for supporting excavation projects by performing a variety of tasks that ensure the efficient and safe completion of construction activities. This role involves working closely with the excavation team to prepare sites, manage materials, and assist in the operation of machinery under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of excavation sites by clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment. Operate basic hand tools and machinery as directed by the supervisor to support excavation activities. Load and unload materials, ensuring they are stored safely and transported to the required locations on site. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Collaborate with team members to ensure that projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Report any issues or hazards encountered on site to the supervisor promptly. Participate in training sessions and safety meetings to enhance skills and knowledge of excavation processes.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience:

Previous experience in excavation or construction labor preferred. Familiarity with operating basic excavation equipment and tools. Experience in working outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to excavation and construction sites. Strong teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions from supervisors. Basic understanding of reading site plans and blueprints. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members.
