Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Laborer / Utility Installer / Equipment Operator to join our team. We perform underground utility construction including water service, meter pits, sewer laterals, storm sewer systems, and site developement work. Experience with utility installation and excavation is preferred. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front-loader trucks to move materials, prepare sites, and assist with infrastructure installation Assist in utility installation tasks including pipe laying, utility locating, and pipeline setup using specialized tools like pipe lasers and construction lasers Perform minor concrete work associated with utility installation, including meter pits, valve boxes, and restoration activities Ability to work safely in trenches and around underground utilities Experience in installing water services and sewer laterals. Ability to lift 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions. Support excavation activities by digging trenches or foundations while adhering to safety standards Assist with construction site setup, cleanup, and organization to maintain a safe and efficient work environment Qualifications Live within 30 minutes of Aston, PA Serious candidates apply; this is not a train-on-the-job position Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front-loader trucks CDL A or B preferred Valid Driver's License required Experience working for utility, excavation, sitework, or underground contractors preferred Experience with fusing HDPE pipe together for utilities. Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and OSHA standards Strong physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy objects, and perform manual labor for extended periods Construction site experience involving pipe laser alignment or minor concrete
