Interior Supply Inc. is looking for a Stocker/Laborer for our Altoona, PA branch! Stocker/Material Handler:

The Stocker/Material Handler is responsible for being the right-hand to our (Boom, Curtain, Flatbed, etc.) truck drivers and other team members to help get customer orders quickly and safely out to job sites. The right-hand will help with loading and unloading those materials; by hand, cart, forklift or Boom crane.

You will also:

Assist Driver with getting truck road ready by making sure load is secure and other pre-trip duties such as mounting of Teledyne and buckling of straps and or curtains;

• doing the same thing again after a drop to be road ready to depart job site Examine job sites upon arrival for safety and operational hazards, discussing any obstacles with driver and or other team members Assist driver in maneuvering trucks and spotting at job sites and other locations when truck must make difficult turns, maneuvers, or when backing up Return to home base and reload for next delivery (same day or next morning Assist with customer loading in yard, put away material, or general warehouse/yard maintenance when needed Be the all-round reliable guy/gal to help out!
