Heavy Industrial Labor

Job Summary We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as a Heavy Industrial Labor employee in East Stroudsburg, PA. As a Heavy Industrial Labor team member, you will perform a variety of general labor and utility tasks throughout a paper mill while supporting daily production and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform general manual labor throughout the paper mill. Pick up loose paper and production debris. Sweep floors and maintain clean work areas. Clean equipment and workspaces using various hand tools. Shovel materials as needed. Safely handle chemicals while following all safety procedures. Operate a core cutting machine to cut paper cores. Operate a forklift to move loose paper, transport paper rolls and pallets, and empty dump hoppers. Complete additional labor and utility duties as assigned. Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety, quality, and teamwork.

Qualifications:

Previous industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or labor experience is preferred. Forklift experience or the ability to safely operate a forklift is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently. Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately. Strong attention to safety and quality standards. Comfortable working in environments that may be hot, cold, dusty, or dirty. Dependable attendance and a positive attitude. Ability to work rotating shifts and collaborate with a team.
