Duties Assist with demolition, debris removal, and site cleanup to prepare apartments for renovation or occupancy Perform basic carpentry tasks such as door hanging, trim carpentry, and framing to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic appeal Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks including drywall installation, caulking, painting, and flooring installation Support plumbing and electrical work by assisting licensed professionals with installations or repairs as needed Install fixtures such as cabinets, glass panels, doors, and hardware to enhance apartment functionality and appearance Apply finishing techniques like plastering, stucco application, concrete finishing, and masonry work to achieve high-quality results Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute construction plans while adhering to safety standards and building codes Conduct routine inspections of work areas to ensure quality standards are met during each phase of turnover projects Collaborate with project managers and supervisors to meet deadlines while maintaining a safe work environment Experience Previous experience working on construction sites or in renovation projects is highly preferred Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction management principles is advantageous Hands-on knowledge of various construction trades including carpentry, masonry, roofing, welding, and restoration techniques Experience operating power tools, heavy equipment, and hand tools safely and effectively Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and inspection procedures related to apartment renovations or similar projects Ability to perform physical labor consistently in various weather conditions while maintaining attention to detail Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately and communicate effectively with team members This role requires a proactive attitude combined with a passion for craftsmanship.
