As a family-owned and operated company, we understand that people are our greatest asset. Job Overview We are seeking a General Construction Laborer/Pipelayer to join our team. This position is an essential part of our crew, performing a variety of manual tasks to support various construction activities. This is a physically demanding job that requires a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work as part of a team. This job offers competitive wages and benefits. Key Responsibilities Ability to perform physical labor activities which includes, but is not limited to, lifting, pulling, pushing, and/or carrying different types of objects/materials. Preparing worksite zones, installing traffic barricades, cones, markers, and controlling traffic passing near, in, and around work zones. Assist with setting up and dismantling scaffolding, barricades, and other temporary structures. Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment using hand tools and machinery. Caring for company tools/equipment/machines. Keeps job site clean of all unused/waste materials and ensures all equipment is stored in a safe and secure manner. Ensure the practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA. Willingness to perform and learn different aspects of the Construction Laborer position. Perform all other tasks and follow instructions as directed by supervisors. Experience/Skills Prior experience working as a laborer or equivalent experience - Preferred. Mechanical aptitude - Preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Requirements High school diploma Minimum 18 years of age Valid Driver's License Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen, background check, and MVR JME Inc. is a drug free and Equal Opportunity Employer.
