Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Residential Construction Technician to join our team. This hands-on role is responsible for completing residential renovations for a multi family apartment community. Including apartment turns, and interior improvement projects while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism. The ideal candidate has experience across multiple trades, takes pride in quality work, and can independently complete projects from start to finish. Responsibilities Perform residential carpentry including framing, trim work, baseboards, doors, and finish carpentry. Install and repair kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, countertops, and hardware. Install Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) and other hard surface flooring, including preparation of subfloors. Replace bathtubs, tub surrounds, shower surrounds, vanities, and bathroom fixtures. Complete drywall repairs, patching, finishing, and texture matching. Prepare surfaces and perform professional interior painting, including walls, ceilings, trim, and doors. Install appliances including refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, microwaves, washers, and dryers. Install and replace lighting fixtures, ceiling fans, switches, outlets, and other basic electrical components. Perform general plumbing repairs including faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, sinks, shut-off valves, and drain assemblies. Complete punch list items and ensure projects are completed on schedule. Diagnose maintenance and construction issues and recommend appropriate repairs. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment at all times. Properly protect occupied and vacant units during construction activities. Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding project status, materials needed, and scheduling. Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies. Qualifications 3+ years of residential construction, remodeling, or maintenance experience preferred.
Strong working knowledge of:
Finish carpentry, Cabinet installation, LVT flooring installation, Drywall repair and finishing, Interior painting, Basic plumbing, Basic electrical work, Bathroom renovations Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and construction drawings is preferred. Experience using standard construction tools and equipment. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including kneeling, climbing ladders, bending, and working overhead. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Reliable transportation. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining excellent workmanship. Preferred Skills Experience renovating apartment communities or residential rental properties. Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality finished work. Ability to troubleshoot issues across multiple trades. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to customer satisfaction. Pay:
$25.34 - $30.52 per hour
