Job Description

Onimus, LLC is currently accepting applications for Laborer positions within the organization. Onimus provides their services to the utility, municipal, industrial, and piping industries throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate must be highly self motivated and enjoys every day being different. Daily responsibilities may change based on the client's needs but expect a constant work schedule. The role will be challenged with new processes and products due to the industries the organization is diversified in. Responsibilities The Laborer role will assist the operation where he or she is needed to ensure shop and onsite projects are kept on pace and completed to satisfaction. The shop is a manufacturing setting where he or she is needed to ensure pipe fabrications, structural builds, handrails, miscellaneous projects, and other parts of the manufacturing process are completed. The field is a construction setting where he or she is needed to assist the operation with onsite work including operating power tools, hand labor, driving to pick up parts and material, and other miscellaneous tasks. He or she must possess the knowledge and experience to conform to the specifications presented by clients and execute to the standards set within the different industries. This position requires manual dexterity, strength, endurance, flexibility, and the ability to follow details to precision. Below are further responsibilities the successful candidate will be looked upon to manage: Organizing of material Inventorying of deliveries Prepping material Cleaning shop areas and equipment Packaging product appropriately Moving machinery and equipment Prioritizing work in order as needed Picking up and dropping off material / product Completing tasks efficiently, consistently, and independently Manual labor such as shoveling, lifting material, holding up fabrications, etc. Alert Administration when problems arise that may prevent the task from being completed Maintain productivity while ensuring quality results Requirements HS Diploma or GED required 0•2 years' experience or Trade School Equivalent Proof of identity and employment eligibility Valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Ability to read and understand equipment manuals Willingness to learn new skills, processes, and concepts Tolerance to loud noises, sounds, and an onsite work environment Previous work experience in construction Reliable transportation to and from work Must be on time for scheduled work shifts Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends as needed Must have a positive attitude Ability to multi task and re-prioritize works / tasks in progress High productivity expectations Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening Honest, reliable, and hard working Complete tasks efficiently Professional demeanor and appearance Ability to work in all elements of weather Excellent communication skills, self motivated, and demonstrated ability to work independently Ability to stand for long periods of time; up to 8•10 hours a day Ability to kneel, crouch, bend, squat, climb, and perform repetitive motion tasks
Pay:
$16.00•$20.00 per hour
