Duties and Responsibilities:
Defend contractors, owners, and developers in Labor Law, construction defect, and premises liability actions. Manage discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation in complex construction disputes. Analyze contracts, insurance policies, additional insured endorsements, and risk allocation issues. Advise clients on claims handling and risk avoidance strategies for ongoing projects. Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates): JD and active NY bar. 3-7+ years of construction defect, Labor Law, or related defense litigation experience.
