Field & Shop Support Associate Location:
East Providence, RI and surrounding job sites

$19.00 per hour About the Role LOPCO Contracting is seeking a hardworking, reliable, and motivated Field & Shop Support Associate to strengthen our growing team. This is a hands-on position that plays a critical role in keeping projects moving efficiently by assisting with material pickups and deliveries, job site & shop support, debris removal, and general labor tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, takes pride in being dependable, and has a strong interest in construction, contracting, or the skilled trades. As LOPCO continues to grow, there will be opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company. Key Responsibilities
  • Pick up and deliver construction materials, tools, and supplies to job sites
  • Assist contractors and project teams with daily job site needs
  • Remove debris and maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments
  • Load, unload, and transport heavy materials and equipment
  • Assist with demolition, cleanup, and site preparation activities
  • Support project teams with general labor and construction-related tasks
  • Help maintain inventory of tools, materials, and supplies
  • Coordinate deliveries and pickups with vendors and suppliers
  • Ensure materials arrive accurately and on schedule
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness of company vehicles
  • Follow all company safety procedures and job site requirements
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, and field teams
  • Provide additional support wherever needed to help projects stay on track Qualifications Required
  • Valid driver's license with a solid driving record
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials on a regular basis
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Strong attendance, punctuality, and reliability
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently when needed
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
  • Strong work ethic and a "roll up your sleeves" mentality Preferred
  • Previous experience in construction, landscaping, moving, warehouse work, delivery, or other physically demanding roles
  • Interest in construction, contracting, home improvement, or skilled trades
  • Experience operating basic hand and power tools
  • Forklift or equipment experience is a plus (not required) What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is:
