Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Solar General Laborer and be a vital part of transforming the future of renewable energy! In this energetic role, you will assist with the installation, maintenance, and construction of solar energy systems on various sites. Your hands-on skills and enthusiasm will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties Assist with the assembly and installation of solar panels, racking systems, and electrical components on rooftops and ground-mounted sites Use hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment to prepare sites and secure solar equipment Read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support installation processes Support electrical work by handling low voltage and high voltage wiring under supervision, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards Operate construction equipment such as forklifts safely to move materials around job sites Assist with fixture installation, plumbing connections, and other related construction tasks Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members Skills Experience working with electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage wiring Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams for solar or electrical installations Knowledge of NEC standards applicable to solar and electrical work Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, roofing techniques, and construction site procedures Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately for precise installation tasks Prior construction or roofing experience is highly desirable Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely is a plus Basic plumbing knowledge relevant to solar system connections is advantageous Strong teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions precisely Willingness to learn new skills related to electrical work and solar technology Embark on an exciting career path in renewable energy!
