Construction Laborer

We are seeking skilled construction laborers for an ongoing project in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in commercial construction along with a strong work ethic and reliability on the job site.

Pay:

$18-22 per hour depending on experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects ( up to 50 lbs.) and standing for extended periods. Basic understanding of construction site safety practices and willingness to adhere to safety regulations. Reliable attendance and punctuality with a strong work ethic. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively within a team environment. Valid driver s license and reliable transportation to job sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in construction or a related labor-intensive field. Completion of OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour safety training. Familiarity with common construction tools and equipment. Basic knowledge of construction terminology and processes. Additional experience in specialty trades such as: carpentry, equipment operation, etc.

Responsibilities:

Assist with loading, unloading, and moving construction materials and equipment on-site. Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, setting up scaffolding, and ensuring safe working conditions. Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by providing necessary tools and materials. Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision to complete assigned tasks. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment. Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and assembling temporary structures. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate daily activities. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
