This role is essential to keeping jobs running efficiently, safely, and on schedule. Laborers work under the direction of a Foreman or Roof Technician and are expected to follow safety procedures at all times.

Roles, Responsibilities:

Assist roofing crews with installation, repair, and maintenance tasks. Load, unload, carry, and stage roofing materials, tools, and equipment. Clean and organize job sites, removing debris and ensuring a safe working environment. Follow instructions from Foremen or Roof Technicians to support project workflow. Set up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment as needed. Support crew members with basic tasks such as measuring, cutting, and carrying materials. Follow all safety protocols, including the use of PPE and proper ladder/fall protection techniques. Report hazards, issues, or material shortages to the Foreman or Supervisor.

Qualifications, Certifications, Educational Requirements Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality. Must be able to work with a fast paced team, multiple projects/jobs and environment. Ability to work as part of a team. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple job sites. Preferred skills Prior construction or roofing experience preferred but not required. physical requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-75 lbs frequently. Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and work on roofs at various heights. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day. Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and other weather conditions. Ability to tolerate dust, debris, noise , and other typical jobsite conditions. Ability to operate company vehicles and equipment when required. Additional Notes This position typically works a standard work week, but may be required working some holidays, evenings, nights and/or weekends to meet project milestones.
