Construction Laborer

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of pipelines, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction techniques and equipment operation, as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Responsibilities Install and maintain pipelines for water, sewage, and other utilities. Operate heavy machinery such as front loaders and skidsteers to assist in excavation and installation tasks. Utilize tools like pipe lasers for accurate alignment and leveling of pipes. Conduct utility locating to prevent damage to existing infrastructure during installation. Ensure all work is compliant with safety regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain a clean and organized worksite throughout the duration of projects. Experience Proven experience in pipelaying or related construction roles is preferred. Familiarity with operating heavy machinery, including forklifts, loaders and skidsteers. Ability to read blueprints and understand technical specifications related to pipeline installation. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
