Monday-Friday, 7 am

• 4:30 pm This role focuses on installing office furniture on a variety of commercial projects.

You will start each day at the shop, travel with a crew to different jobsites, and assist with unloading, assembling, and installing furniture. The position involves reading blueprints to ensure accurate layout and installation, using hand and power tools, and contributing to high-quality, efficient project completion.

Responsibilities:

Meet at the shop each morning and travel with the crew to various jobsites in company vehicles. Unload vans and safely move furniture, components, and materials into the work area. Assemble and install office furniture systems according to plans, instructions, and manufacturer specifications. Read and interpret blueprints and layout drawings to ensure accurate placement and installation. Use hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and tape measures to cut, fasten, and adjust components.

Essential Skills:

Strongly prefers at least 1 year of construction experience or closely related hands-on work. Comfort working on active jobsites and around other trades. Proficiency using hand tools and power tools, including drills and saws. Ability to read and understand blueprints or layout drawings, or strong aptitude to learn. Ability to accurately use a tape measure and take precise measurements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in general construction, installation, or general labor in commercial environments is beneficial. Prior experience working in commercial office buildings is helpful.
