This role requires an all-around tradesperson who can handle everything from initial demolition to final paint touch-ups. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, clean, and experienced in full-room transitions.
Key Responsibilities Demolition & Prep:
Safely tear out existing materials and prepare the workspace.
Ceiling Scraping:
Remove outdated acoustic/popcorn ceiling texture cleanly.
Drywall Installation:
Hang and secure new drywall panels neatly.
Mudding & Taping:
Tape joints and apply mud to a seamless finish.
Wall Texturing:
Apply uniform texture matching existing home surfaces.
Painting:
Prime and paint walls, ceilings, and trim cleanly.
General Installation:
Install basic trim, baseboards, and hardware.
Requirements Experience:
Minimum 3+ years in drywall finishing and painting.
Tools:
Must possess own hand tools and reliable transportation.
Skills:
Strong eye for detail, especially during mudding and sanding.
Reliability:
Punctual, respectful of property, and committed to deadlines.
Cleanup:
Responsible for daily debris removal and dust control.
