Description The Laborer performs a variety of tasks supporting underground utility construction, including site preparation, pipe installation, backfilling, and cleanup. This role requires physical strength, attention to safety, and the ability to work in diverse outdoor conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the installation of underground systems. Perform trench excavation, pipe laying, and compaction under supervision. Safely and effectively use hand tools, power tools, and small equipment. Load, unload, and handle construction materials and equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work site. Follow all safety protocols, including proper PPE use and trench safety standards. Support crew members and equipment operators as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous construction or utility labor experience preferred but not required. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in all weather conditions. Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
