Full Job Description Location:
Job site is located in the Dripping Springs area This is a seasonal SUMMER position. Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Laborer to support daily operations on an active construction jobsite. The ideal candidate is a team player who can perform a variety of physical tasks safely and efficiently under the direction of a supervisor or foreman. Key Responsibilities Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment around the jobsite Prepare and clean work areas before, during, and after construction activities Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact soil as directed Mix, pour, and spread concrete, asphalt, and other materials Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians, plumbers, etc.) as needed Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, and temporary structures Remove debris, waste, and hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations Operate basic hand tools and power tools (shovels, jackhammers, compactors, etc.) Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company safety protocols at all times Perform other duties as assigned by the foreman or project supervisor Requirements Must pass background check and have dependable transportation to/from job site each day. Prior construction or labor experience preferred; on-the-job training available Ability to lift and carry up to 50-75 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods Reliable transportation and punctuality OSHA 10 certification a plus Valid driver's license a plus Age 17+ Compensation Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Overtime opportunities available. Work Environment This position works full-time on an active outdoor construction jobsite. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) — including hard hat, safety vest, steel-toed boots, and gloves — is required at all times.
