Job Description

We need an expert wallpaper installer with at least 5 years of
FULL-TIME
paper-hanging experience!! We're a residential painting and wallpapering company working throughout the greater Austin, TX area. Pay is excellent (see below). •

DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU HAVE AT LEAST 5 YEARS' FULL-TIME EXPERIENCE INSTALLING WALLPAPER PROFESSIONALLY!
! This is not a skill we can teach, and it does not transfer easily from other trades such as signs or vinyl wraps.
  • Want to focus on the craft?
This job would be ideal for a wallpaper installer/subcontractor who is tired of doing all of their own office and management as well as the field work, and just wants to concentrate on being a craftsman. We can keep you busy as little or as much as you want. You show up, pick up your work order, and the wallpaper will be waiting at the project site for you to install. We pay every Friday. If you committed full-time to us, you could easily make well over $75,000. We have four installers presently who easily are over that figure every year.
  • We need someone who can install all kinds of wallpaper, from standard rolls to grasscloth, murals, even high-end papers like hand-painted silks. If you've only done commercial vinyl work, please let us know, as this is quite a bit different from residential work. We do occasionally get commercial projects, so your experience in that area will be a plus.
  • Since you'll be a subcontractor, you need a current valid driver's license and ideally your own general liability insurance. You also speak fluent English and can pass a background check. If you need benefits, we are also open to hiring you as an employee, rather than a sub.
