Job Description

Job Overview Lux Building Group is seeking a dependable and hardworking Laborer to support residential and commercial construction projects. We are looking for someone who can strongly assist skilled tradespeople, maintain clean and safe job sites, handle materials and tools, and perform general construction duties to help ensure projects are completed efficiently and high-quality standards. Responsibilities Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as moving materials, debris removal, and site cleanup. Support carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, framing, metal stud framing, and renovation work. Aid in masonry activities like tile laying, stucco application, and brickwork. Contribute to roofing, plastering, caulking, flooring installation, and other specialty trades as needed. Perform general labor tasks, including digging, lifting, demolition, material preparation, and more. Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential. Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and concrete pumping machinery safely. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings is highly desirable. Physical stamina for heavy lifting and long hours on-site; ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Valid driver's license for commercial driving or operating heavy equipment is a plus. Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities; safety-conscious mindset at all times.
