Job Title:

Construction Laborer Job Description As a Service Technician, you will receive daily work instructions and work orders that outline your tasks for the day. You will be responsible for preparing trailers and units for delivery, maintaining the units and furniture, and loading and unloading furniture onto the units. You will utilize hand and power tools to make repairs and service the units, perform basic grounds maintenance, and have a high attention to detail to document your work throughout the day. Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, reporting problems, and maintaining a safety mindset are also key components of this role. Responsibilities Prepare trailers and units for delivery Maintain the units and furniture Load and unload furniture onto the units Utilize hand and power tools to make repairs and service the units Perform basic grounds maintenance Have a high attention to detail and document work throughout the day Diagnose and troubleshoot issues Report issues Maintain a safety mindset throughout the day Essential Skills Experience with hand tools and power tools Carpentry skills Assembly skills Ability to perform drywall, repair, and painting tasks Mechanically inclined Ability to read and interpret work orders Detail oriented Ability to lift 50lbs+ Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have steel toes Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is non-climate controlled, involving outside/yard work. You will be part of a team of 25-35 individuals in production, and steel toes are required. The hours are from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with rare Saturday work, and the latest end time is 5 p.m. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
