Laborer - Crating & Packaging

Job Description and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dependable Production Laborer to build custom wooden crates and pallets, prepare items for shipping and packing, and making deliveries. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: measuring and cutting lumber to assemble crates and pallets with hand and power tools, loading/unloading materials into and out of crates, prepare items for packing, making custom card board boxes, move pallets with a pallet jack and/or fork lift, go on local deliveries and pick ups (non-driving), maintaining a clean, safe work area, maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures, and other duties as assigned.

Experience & Skills:

Construction, carpentry or warehouse experience is a plus. Forklift Certified Operator is a plus. Ability to work as a team and independently. Able to follow instructions and complete assignments within parameters of instruction given. Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repetively. Physical dexterity as this position requires being on your feet all day and constant bending. Have a good attendance record. Work in hot and cold environments (warehouse is unconditioned). Drug free.
